'Linguistic refugee island' is a delicious concept. One of the biggest things I miss from living abroad is being surrounded by the English language so writing a blog in English is one way to feed this longing... and yeah, of course I read all the books and mags and watch the programmes and films in English and write articles in English, but it's just not enough. ‘Linguistic refugee island’ is a delicious concept.

One of the biggest things I miss from living abroad is being surrounded by the English language so writing a blog in English is one way to feed this longing… and yeah, of course I read all the books and mags and watch the programmes and films in English and write articles in English, but it’s just not enough.

I’ve been flirting with the idea of starting a blog in English too.
