Thanks for reading, Hanna - yes, the exhausting and amazing amount of the whole two of my posts :-)) I'm seriously trying to show up a bit more this autumn.

Please please do take that flirting to another level and start a blog in English, would love to read what you're up to in Sydney! (btw, are you already writing a blog in Finnish?)

'Linguistic refugee island' is a delicious concept.

One of the biggest things I miss from living abroad is being surrounded by the English language so writing a blog in English is one way to feed this longing... and yeah, of course I read all the books and mags and watch the programmes and films in English and write articles in English, but it's just not enough.

Great blog you've got Minna! I loved reading, erm, both of the posts. I'd def like to read more.

I've been flirting with the idea of starting a blog in English too. I'd like it to serve as a linguistic refugee island - when you write in Finnish for living, you're kinda done with that language in the evening. Maybe writing a blog in another language would feel like a playtime away from deadlines?

Thanks for sharing. I hang on my ideology, living every day like last one. Referring to that, I recently gave myself a permission to experience what comes with cut of tea - in British and Scottish way, sweet scones and cup cakes, yummy! Have the best spring ever, U2!
